CopyHub is a local clipboard history app for macOS. It does not create accounts, does not show ads, and does not send your clipboard data to any server.

What CopyHub Stores (On Your Mac Only)

To provide clipboard history, CopyHub stores:

  • •Clipboard items you copy (text, images, file references, colors).
  • •Basic metadata (date/time, item type, source app).
  • •Small previews to make the list fast.
  • •Your preferences, favorites, tags, and notes.

CopyHub does not collect names, emails, device identifiers, precise location, or advertising IDs.

Optional Features

Some features store extra data locally only:

  • •Smart Preview: keeps richer clipboard previews for supported content.
  • •Figma Integration: shows a readable preview for Figma clipboard items.
  • •OCR: when you request it, text is extracted from images and saved locally.
  • •Secret Items: hides items in the UI until you unlock them.

You can turn these features on or off in Settings.

Purchases

Pro purchases are handled by Apple. CopyHub does not receive your payment details. It only receives entitlement status from StoreKit to unlock features.

Your Controls

  • •Pause or quit the app at any time.
  • •Exclude specific apps from capture.
  • •Set retention duration for non-favorites.
  • •Clear all history or delete items individually.
  • •Disable Smart Preview or integrations.
  • •Disable Launch at Login.

Data Sharing and Network Use

  • •CopyHub does not transmit clipboard data to any server.
  • •No ads, analytics, or third-party trackers.
  • •Only Apple's StoreKit is used for purchase validation.
  • •If you open support or website links, they open in your browser.

Storage and Security

All data is stored locally in the CopyHub app sandbox. CopyHub relies on macOS sandboxing and your system security settings (such as FileVault if enabled).

Children's Privacy

CopyHub is intended for general productivity use and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
